
The National Society DAR creates and dictates what committees each chapter has and the mission of each committee. Small chapters, such as ours, are allowed to combine multiple committees. The following image shows the multitude of administrative responsibilities outlined by the National Society in the form of committees. It helps to use an image to explain how we as a chapter operate in a way that meets the expectations of the society despite our small size. In many ways we have had to be very creative. Most of that comes from new ideas, so never be afraid to suggest something you think would help improve the chapter.
