We give World War II veterans a long overdue hero’s welcome as they arrive at the airport to visit the World War II Memorial.
We attend Sweet Hearts and Patriots, a charity gala that benefits organizations in support of veterans.
We participated in a ceremony to honor the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
We participate in a wreath-laying ceremony that honors our fallen veterans. We also participate in the subsequent cleanup.
We make cake-pops to send to active duty military who are stationed overseas and to the Walter Reed Fisher House.
We help members of the Colonel William Grayson Society Children of the American Revolution (C.A.R.) make gingerbread houses that are then auctioned off. The proceeds are used to fund their state and national projects.
We learn about how DAR has honored the accomplishments of its members with sashes and pins since 1890.

We help plan and attend fundraisers to help preserve the historical Lee-Fendell House.
